Amy Winehouse Foundation donates to Irish kids hospice LauraLynn.
The ‘LauraLynn Children’s Hospice Foundation’ was set up in 2001 as a result of an enormous personal tragedy in the lives of Jane and Brendan McKenna which saw them lose both of their precious daughters Laura and Lynn in the space of just two years.
The Sun reports that Mitch Winehouse will donate £25,000 to the Irish charity on behalf of the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

THE family of tragic rock icon Amy Winehouse is to hand over £25,000 to an Irish charity.
Amy’s devoted dad Mitch will fly to Dublin on Friday to give the cash to the LauraLynn Children’s Hospice.
Mitch told how Amy, 27, who died from alcohol poisoning on July 23 last year, would’ve been touched by the charity’s work — and in particular its founders Brendan and Jane McKenna.
He said: “We were moved and in awe of the great work the hospice does for kids in Ireland.”
Mitch and Amy’s mum Janis set up The Amy Winehouse Foundation to help improve the lives of young people in any sort of difficulty.
And Mitch explained how the LauraLynn Children’s Hospice in Dublin is a perfect candidate.
He said: “Our foundation is in place to help charities and projects that make a difference and nowhere is this illustrated so well as at LauraLynn. We are honoured to be able to make this donation in Amy’s name and know she’d be proud too.”
Mitch visited the LauraLynn Hospice last year. His trip coincided with the release of Amy’s posthumous album Lioness: Hidden Treasures — the sales of which allowed for the €25,000 gift to LauraLynn.
The LauraLynn Foundation was originally set up for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions by parents Brendan and Jane, who lost their two daughters within the space of two years.
Laura died aged four, from a serious heart condition while her brave sister Lynn was diagnosed with Leukaemia the day Laura passed away. She died less than two years later, aged 15. On Friday Mitch will be accompanied by Amy Winehouse Foundation patron Barbara Windsor.
Mitch Winehouse has been quoted as saying; “Our Foundation is in place to help charities and projects that make a difference and nowhere is this illustrated so well as at LauraLynn.”
