That earned Amy Winehouse a spot in the 2009 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records for Most Grammy Awards won by a British Female Act. The 2009 Guinness Book of World Records was released on September 17.

Amy Winehouse did not attend the Grammy Awards because her request for a visa was denied, but she performed via satellite from London.

At the 54th Grammy Awards on February 12, 2012. Mitch and Janis Winehouse were invited onto the Grammy stage by Tony Bennett to accept the Grammy for ‘Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group’ on behalf of their daughter for her duet Body and Soul with Tony Bennett.

“We shouldn’t be here. Our darling daughter should be here. These are the cards that we’re dealt,” said Mitch Winehouse after he was called on stage by Tony Bennett.

Body and Soul was to be Amy’s last studio recording.

Without a doubt, Amy Winehouse is one of the best known female British singers of this century.
